Inspection department has added a courtesy inspection for house wrap NOT MANDATORY. This can be called in if framing is complete but trades are not and the permit holder would like to start veneer or siding. Please be aware that if problems are found later on the framing that this could affect what veneer or siding you have installed before a complete framing inspection is done. Complete framing inspection can only be done when all trades (Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing roughs) are complete as well.
911 addresses WILL BE INSTALLED PERMANENTLY with contrasting background on the house/building or installed PERMANENTLY with contrasting background on a post( 4×4 treated or other material approved by inspection department) next to house/building no matter how far house/building is from street. 4 in number/letters in height ½ in stroke (spray painted number NOT acceptable). If house/building address is not visible from street or house/building is located more than 100ft from street. An address will be posted at street. This STREET address must be installed PERMANENTLY WITH contrasting background on a approved post (4×4 treated or other material approved by inspection department). Must be 4in numbers/letters in height ½ stroke(spray painted number NOT acceptable) . Address numbers may be 3in tall and reflective if required at STREET location.
GC’s please inform truss manufacturers/designers of large header spans when roof trusses are used. Depending on span and design of trusses some 6ft headers constructed of 2x10syp may not meet code and a LVL header MAY be required.
